Introduction
I am writing this essay to inform Mr. D of how great my pink stool is. I made this design of my stool, because I wanted to do something simple but also unique. I love pink and glitter, so the idea of personalizing the stool made me very excited to do the design process of the stool. The purpose of the project was to make a good stool and of course get a good grade, but I saw it as an opportunity to learn new things about building and tools, and machines. I would love to help my dad with projects along this line of work, which is another great reason I loved this project.
Drafting step
Build process

I first used the drill press to drill a hole into the center of the heart to make it easier to cut out the shape from the top of the stool, I then sanded down the inside of the heart with sand paper. I used a drill bit to drill holes into the legs of the stool so i could screw the legs into the top of the stool. I used the chop saw to cut braces for the sides of under the stool to give it more support so it wouldn’t collapse under me.
Conclusion
Inconclusion, the stool went pretty well, I love how it turned out! Not having unlimited amounts of wood definetly limited the design process, but overall I ended up appreciating my simpilistic design in the end. In the end I did run out of wood so I wasn’t able to put bracing on all four sides of the stool, but it still held up! What didn’t work was me not double checking my labelling on the wood which led to miss cuts and lack of wood in the end.
