In this assignment, we were told to make a 3D model of one of the rooms in our houses. I chose to make a room from my basement. This task wasn’t too difficult to complete it was mostly just learning how to use SketchUp that was hard. The steps I did to complete this were, one measure the room in my basement, two get on SketchUp, and start to create a room with the measurements I got. three add the door and windows and four recheck everything.
Some things that went pretty well were measuring the room at my house. It wasn’t very hard to just use a tape measure and measure the walls. Although doing it on every single wall was kinda annoying. Something that was hard was getting SketchUp to actually make the room correctly, I’m not sure why it kept messing up the walls and it was very hard to get correct.
